Crazy about coding? Dedicated to .NET? We want to hear from you!

At TDS, we’re always looking to expand our team with talented people at all stages of their career. Whether you’re a new grad looking to take your first steps into the world of work, or a senior-level engineer looking for a change of scenery, we’ve got the role for you.

Why work at TDS?

Experience

It’s not every week you’ll get to work with renowned industry-leading companies and talented, friendly SMEs. We’ve built a hugely varied client base across a range of exciting sectors, meaning you’ll work with prestigious clients on critical projects, keeping your work life fun and interesting.

Recognition is key, and our flat management structure means that you will have opportunities to progress through the company, learning new languages and skills as you go.

Flexibility

Though many of our job roles are based in Newcastle, the nature of our work means you can enjoy high levels of flexibility, with hybrid and fully remote roles.

Culture

Monthly team socials? Check. An annual, expenses-paid, team trip abroad? Obviously. Regular team lunches and a Christmas party for the ages? You already know the answer.

A happy team leads to the best results, and that’s why workplace culture is so important to us at TDS. We pride ourselves on our fun, inclusive environment, where creativity and collaboration can thrive.

Location

Our offices are great places to work. Our newly-renovated HQ is located on Newcastle’s bustling Quayside, offering panoramic views of the Millennium Bridge, the Baltic Art Gallery and the Sage Concert Hall.

How we hire

At TDS, transparency is one of our guiding principles. With that in mind, we want our recruitment process to be as clear-cut as possible, so candidates are comfortable and at ease throughout the selection process.

  • After submitting your C.V., our in house recruitment team will reach out to you for an initial chat. During this call, they will be looking to find out a little more about you and your experience. It’s also a great time for you to clarify any questions you might have about the role or what it’s like to work at TDS.

  • If both TDS and yourself wish to proceed, you’ll be invited to a technical interview, which is closer to a ‘standard’ job interview. This will take place with one or two of our consultants, and usually takes about an hour. You’ll be evaluated on:

    - Communication and interpersonal skills – As a consultancy, how we interact and communicate with our clients is crucial to our reputation and ability to deliver outcomes.

    - Approach to solving problems – There’s no need for encyclopaedic knowledge! At TDS, we have a team-first approach, so we need to know you’ll be able to work with others.

    - Technical capabilities – We value technical expertise, whether you’re an SME or a have knowledge across a variety of domains.

    - Alignment to TDS values – We’ll consider what you can add to the company and how you’ll help make our existing team better.

  • After a successful technical interview, you’ll be invited to meet with a member of our leadership team. Here, it’ll be possible to discuss the specifics regarding your placement within the company, working arrangements, our plans and your ambitions.

Sound good? We want to hear from you! To apply for a role, please send a copy of your CV to careers@testdrivensolutions.co.uk.

*Please note we are not accepting CVs from recruitment agencies at this time. We love that you’d like to work with us, but unsolicited candidates that are submitted will not result in any business.
