As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to develop and grow long lasting relationships with existing customers across our diverse portfolio of clients.

  • As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the relationships and innovation within your assigned customer base. You will shape and deliver account strategies that maximise revenue growth, increase client satisfaction and ensure account retention year on year. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our services are consistently evolving to meet client needs and innovating new ways of working where needed.

    • Client relationship management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to build a long-term strategy for solution delivery, ensuring their needs are understood and met. 

    • Account retention:  Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive steps to ensure high levels of retention and that issues are resolved promptly.

    • Account growth: Define and execute account strategies to upsell into your assigned client base, including in new teams, departments or subsidiaries of the same organisations. 

    • Analysis & reporting: Track and analyse account metrics, providing regular and detailed reporting which drives insights and innovation to both client and internal TDS teams.

    • Commercial performance: Own and manage the financial performance of your accounts and contribute to the forecasting of account growth in collaboration with colleagues in sales & finance.

    • Solution delivery: Ensure the services, solutions and resources delivered are performing to the level our clients expect, and leverage opportunities to innovate solution delivery or apply continual improvement.

    • Meet & greet customers: Regularly engage with customer teams on a face-to-face basis, foster relationships that have long term potential across the UK, Central Europe or North America.

    • 3+ years of experience in account management in IT or Digital consultancies

    • Strong understanding of the services we offer and the sectors we operate in

    • Ability to operate at pace, with regularly updating plans and initiatives

    • Proven capability to build relationships at all levels including C-suite

    • Comfortable leading the creation and presentation of technical proposals and pitches with clients

    • Commercial understanding of fee structures, pricing models and forecasting

    • Enterprise customer experience would be ideal, with a background in financial services, public sector or multi-national private sector organisations
