Technical Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience writing production Rust, including ownership/borrowing, lifetimes, traits and generics

• Experience with async Rust (Tokio or similar) and the Rust ecosystem (Cargo, crates, testing and benchmarking tools)

• Understanding of memory layout, zero-copy techniques and performance profiling for latency-sensitive code

• Prior experience in C++, C or another systems language is a plus

• 5+ years in systems/backend engineering, with significant production Rust experience

• Experience of building low-latency, high-throughput data pipelines

• Strong understanding of distributed systems – data consistency, fault tolerance, scalability

• Familiarity with financial market data – securities pricing, equities, options, futures

• Proficiency in Linux/BSD

• Networking knowledge – TCP/IP, UDP, multicast/unicast

• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
