We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-obsessed Product Designer to help us with user research, redesign and reimagine our clients platform. Starting with maps, but eventually touching nearly every screen, workflow, and experience.
• Lead the UX rethinking of our product experience, starting with GIS maps
• Create flows, wireframes, mockups, or whatever format moves the team forward
• Work directly with our PO and founder to validate ideas and distill client needs
• Balance power and simplicity — we hide complexity, not bury it
• Help establish a flexible design system that developers can follow without constant hand-holding
• Support pre-sales and investor storytelling as needed with visuals or design narratives
• Deliver or refine user stories that are clear, actionable, and grounded in usability
• Join design reviews and sprint discussions as needed to keep the work sharp and aligned
-
Proven experience designing B2B or workflow-heavy platforms (bonus if you've worked with GIS, mapping tools, or complex data systems)
• Comfortable with mapping, research and design tools (Figma, Whimsical, Miro, Mural, napkins)
• Strong communicator who can write, present, and collaborate across disciplines
-
• You think critically and communicate clearly, even when details are fuzzy
• You know when to push for perfection and when to ship and iterate
• You are a team-first contributor who thrives on feedback and collaboration
• You balance independent problem solving with a strong sense of timing and team rhythm
• You care deeply about the craft of shipping great software, and you bring others with you
