Business Development Representative

Wroclaw, Poland (Remote)

We are a Software Consultancy, who provide highly skilled consultants to support client business needs. Test Driven Solutions have had a successful 5+ years, building a close knit culture and delivering to a variety of clients. Our consultants work across green and brown field projects, using the latest cutting-edge technologies.

We work within private and public sectors, including financial services, government, healthcare, gaming, education, property, broadcasting and renewable energy organisations. We are continuously growing as a business, with new client wins and an internal project on-going.

    Once a year we organise a company away weekend, so far we have travelled to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Riga. This has been a great way for all the staff to get together, no matter what country they are located in and reward the team for the hard work and dedication for the previous years success.

    The majority of our staff are located in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Wroclaw and Calgary. Our Headquarters are located on the Quayside of Newcastle city centre, but have we shared offices available in Scotland for those who prefer a hybrid model further afield. For those based in Wroclaw or Calgary, we have we-work options available.

    Although we support a hybrid model, with the nature of us being a consultancy - there may be onsite requirements depending on what client project you are assigned to. (Unlikely in Poland due to us having UK/Canadian based clients)

  • ● 2+ years of experience in business development or sales in IT or Digital consultancies

    ● Understanding of the services we offer and the sectors we operate in

    ● Ability to operate at pace, with regularly updating plans and initiatives

    ● Capability to build relationships at all levels including C-suite

    ● Comfortable leading the creation and presentation of technical proposals and pitches with clients

    ● Commercial understanding of fee structures, pricing models and forecasting

    ● Knowledge of available prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

  • ● Pipeline development: Map out key markets, sectors and organisations and identify opportunities for TDS to win new contracts.

    ● Contact Prospecting: Engage stakeholders including C-Suite through a number of prospecting methods including LinkedIn, email campaigns and proactive calling.

    ● Proposal & Bid support: Assist with the preparation of prospecting materials, proposals and bids with the support of technical SMEs and senior leaders and be able to present these to client stakeholders.

    ● Closing opportunities: Ensure the closing of qualified opportunities and support the handover of new clients into the existing Account Management function.

  • As a BDR, you will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities, nurturing prospective client relationships and assisting the development of proposals, pitches and commercial strategies.

    Working alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, this role will develop a pipeline of new business acquisition for TDS and ensure that leads generated are managed through each stage of the sales process including closing sales opportunities.
