TDS was founded with one goal: building a technology consultancy defined by exceptional technical excellence, an uncompromising standard of talent, and a culture built on collaboration

In April 2020 we opened our first office in Newcastle and launched our Engineering and QA practices. We started in the middle of a pandemic with a small, close team, and those first months shaped how we still work today: collaborative, curious and focused on doing things properly.

One year in, we crossed the Atlantic and broadened what we could offer.

In July we opened our Calgary office, our first outside the UK. We also launched our Cloud and Data practice, helping clients modernise their platforms and get more from their data. Our team now spanned two continents and kept the same people-first culture.

We passed 50 people and invested in the next generation of talent.

We launched our Graduate Programme to give early-career technologists a real start in the industry. Our new Delivery practice brought structure and leadership to client engagements. By August our team had grown to 50, and many of them had joined through people we already knew and trusted.

A new home in Poland and a new practice built around users.

In March we opened our Wrocław office, bringing exceptional engineering talent into the TDS family. We also launched our User-Centred Design practice, so the people who use what we build are part of every engagement from the very first conversation.

Award-winning work and a growing presence across the public and private sectors.

WellComm Digital, the product we built with GL Education, won the Dynamo Award for Tech for Good, and Sam was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year. We were nominated for Growth and Scale-Up Business of the Year at the Lloyds Business Awards. We also joined the G-Cloud 14 and DOS6 frameworks, opening new doors in the public sector.

We started the year as a team of 100 and kept getting stronger.

In January we passed 100 people across our offices. Growing at that pace meant investing in how we support each other, from line management to career development, so everyone at TDS has a clear path to grow with us.

Edinburgh, Warsaw and 200+ people helping clients do more with technology.

We opened our Edinburgh office in January and our Warsaw office in November, giving us a stronger presence in both Scotland and Poland. We also launched AI Accelerated Delivery, our new service that helps clients deliver faster and with confidence by building AI into how their teams work. We’re continually scaling across five offices, and we’re just getting started.
